Music Review: Atjazz (Atjazz Record Company)

 

We have nothing but love and respect for Martin Iveson Aka Atjazz, normally Deep Knights music reviews focuses on an EP or just one song but which one do you go with when it comes to this 'Remix King' we'd like to call him [laughs]. Prolific remixer throughout his career, Atjazz just has the ability to turn any song and make it his own, adding unique sound and vibe to his production.

 

Not many S.A fans know that Martin took on a job at a new computer games development studio by the name of Core Design Ltd, he left the company 13 years later to concentrate more on his own studio environment in which to channel his musical aspirations further.

 

 

"....I for one am an avid sampler of my own sounds and love to get into editing and would love to see more people getting back into the art of sampling" - Atjazz

So since we couldn't choose one song to go with, we just figured why not pick 3 of the ones we feeling right now.

 

"I always re-program beats and drop new keys but sometimes i get busy and re-sample the parts that I’ve been given. as for productions, it’s about getting a groove and then finding the space to make a song from nothing! a much different approach"
