This year's programme started with an annual fun walk of about 5.8 kilometers in Zamdela attended by more than two hundred people, including the Executive Mayor, The Speaker of Fezile Dabi District Municipality Sizwe Mbalo, The Municipal Manager Lindi Molibeli, and the Regional Secretary of the African National Congress Mr. Moshe Tladi.
Fezile Dabi District Municipality is working hard in making sure that the Fezile Dabi HIV/AIDS benefit concert grows with lips and bounds and contribute to the programme of awareness in the region, but most importantly encourage people to go to clinics to test and know their status, this should not be seen as just an event, but a programme whose long term intention is to make sure that the battle against AIDS is won by working together with communities in the region
Concert consists of veteran crooners such as Caiphus Semenya, Tshepo Tshola, Selaelo Selota, the afro-diva Thandiswa Mazwai, Mafikizolo, the hit-makers Micasa, Zakes Bantwini, HHP and many of our local artists amongst others who will be sharing the stage.
Tickets cost R220 at Computicket and R250 at the gate.
